Data Protection for Clickworker
- INFOsteps GmbH servers are maintained, secured and back-upped by a professional IT service
provider. Nevertheless, the risk of unauthorized access by third parties cannot be completely avoided.
INFOsteps GmbH will not be liable for losses or claims due to unauthorized access by third
parties unless such access was enabled through grossly negligent or intentional conduct
of INFOsteps GmbH.
In general, liability is limited as detailed in the usage terms for clickworkers.
- Regarding the storage of data, two different kinds of data are being stored: personal master
data and usage-based data. The personal master data is being used by INFOsteps GmbH
to transfer funds, to prevent abuse, and to contact users.
The usage-based data is derived from the work of users within the INFOsteps platform.
This includes voluntary data contributions (e.g. education, interests, capabilities, gender)
of users, which INFOsteps would utilize for proposing trainings, tests and job offerings.
- The user explicitely consents to have his/her data, as described before,
stored by INFOsteps GmbH.
Both data sets are stored separately and are only linked for billing purposes.
At any time, the user has the right to obtain information about the stored data
pertaining to him and to request that it will be deleted in the future unless otherwise
provided by law. Personal data will not be disclosed to third parties unless required by law.
- In addition, statistics may be prepared and used by INFOsteps GmbH both internally and
externally. Whenever statistics are used externally, they will be cited only in an
aggregated form in order to prevent the identification of individuals.
